How do I create an account with Knowleaf?


Sign Up:

Creating an account on Knowleaf is simple - just follow this step-by-step guide that walks you through the whole process.

  1. In the upper right-hand corner of the homepage is a green icon with the label Sign Up. Click the icon to go to the sign-up page.


  2. Enter your information in the fields labeled First Name and Last Name.
  3. Enter your email address and password into the fields labeled E-mail and Password. 
  4. Your password must be between 8-50 characters and contain a minimum of one digit, symbol, and one uppercase letter.
  5. Read Knowleaf's Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy
  6. Click the button labeled Next to continue. 

Submit Company Information:

  1. Next, choose your company's categories from the following options. 
    Company types for submitting company information.

    1. If multiple categories apply to your company, select all that apply. You can choose more than one.
    2. Need help determining what category your company falls under? Check out our Knowleaf Dictionary.
  2. Enter your company name and company title into the corresponding fields. 
  3. Choose your license state from the list of options by clicking the section labeled License State.
  4. Enter your company's phone number into the field labeled Phone #.

Submit License Information:


If you would like to submit your license at a later time, skip this step. Please look at our Licenses article for more details.
Knowleaf requires all users to submit their license information within 7 days of account creation to activate their account.
Without a verified license, you cannot buy or sell on the Knowleaf marketplace, and will not be marked as Verified until you do so.
You can submit your licenses while creating an account, or do so at a later date.

If your company belongs to multiple categories, you will need to submit a minimum of one license per category. You can also add additional licenses for a category if you have multiple licenses for that specific company type.

  1. Deselect the checkbox labeled Upload later. 



    1.  You will not be able to enter your information until you deselect the Upload Later checkbox.
  2. If you selected multiple options for your company category, you can make sure you're submitting your license for the correct category by checking the category label located next to the Upload Later checkbox.

  3. Enter your License number into the field labeled License #.
  4. Select your license type from the given options. License type is dependent on the company category. 
  5. Submit a photo of your license by clicking the grey box with the description Add License Image. 
  6. Add an additional license by clicking the text +Add Another License. 
  7. Click the button at the bottom labeled Next to continue. 

Confirm your Information:

  1. This page lets you review the information you previously submitted. Make sure you've entered everything correctly before clicking the Apply button located at the bottom. 
  2. If you would like to make changes, select the button labeled Previous on the bottom left hand corner of the form.
